We take our professionalism and industry education seriously!
At ANP our transcriptionists, translators, and editors are active members of the biggest and most influential organizations in the industry. And most of them are certified or licensed by these organizations. This helps us maintain a consistent, top notch product for our clients. A product that has been sucessfully serving the industry since 2003.
Below are some of the organizations that our company and employees are members of and support…
American Association of Electronic Reporters and Transcribers (AAERT)
The American Association of Electronic Reporters and Transcribers provides education and certification for professionals engaged in digital reporting, transcribing, and associated roles. AAERT offers networking opportunities for its members and promotes public awareness about the value of digital reporting.
Most ANP Transcriptionists, Transcribers, and Editors are all either a CER® “Certified Electronic Reporter” and/or a CET® “Certified Electronic Transcriber”.
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), sets the standard for protecting sensitive patient data. Any company that deals with protected health information (PHI) must ensure that all the required physical, network, and process security measures are in place and followed. ANP has gone to great length and effort to ensure that it’s practices, employees. and contractors are highly educated in HIPAA Compliance and the organization as a whole keeps all sensitive data secure.
American Transcription Association (ATA)
The ATA believes that transcription jobs should remain in the U.S., particularly those in the medical transcription field where privacy is a very real concern. Aside from anything else, sending PHI and other personal information overseas opens individuals and organizations up to information theft and blackmail. We believe it’s vitally important to keep this information within the United States where our laws and protections apply.
American Translators Association (ata)
ATA, founded in 1959, is the largest professional association of translators and interpreters in the U.S. with over 10,000 members in more than 100 countries. ATA’s primary goals include fostering and supporting the professional development of translators and interpreters and promoting the translation and interpreting professions.
